All Black With a Pop of Color
Hello and happy Friday! Today, I am bringing you one of my favorite fashion styles – an all black outfit with a pop of color. I love, love, love wearing this type of outfit in the winter. I usually wear a skirt with tights and add one item of a bright color to give the look some life. The colorful item really grabs people’s attention. So I like to feature my closet favorites as the splash of color: a scarf, a handbag, a top, or cute shoes.
I bumped into not one but two fashionistas wearing a pop of pink on the same day!
Our first fashionista is Monica who was in the area for a job interview. (Good luck, we hope you got the job!) She is wearing a black fit and flare dress she grabbed at a great deal at Nordstrom. She is wearing a bright pair of laser cut, pink heels from Kate Spade. She accessorized her look with a black shoulder bag and a colorful, square Dolce & Gabbana watch. She loves wearing this watch because it goes with everything. It goes with both dressier outfits and casual looks.
