Did you know there’s a collection of garden paths that lead you to serene and intimate scenes of tropical beauty and spectacular vistas? I just discovered the gorgeous @patchofheavensanctuary over the weekend with my friends @sabrinaclementine @nabilaverushka @vintageunicorndesign; and you have to check it out.
Experience old growth tropical hammocks, awe inspiring butterfly pavilion, koi ponds, meditation spaces, peaceful paths, historic structures and native habitat in this 20-acre nature preserve. Join them in preserving and expanding the forest, and protecting the local wildlife for the benefit of all. Patch of Heaven Sanctuary is a non-profit organization and welcomes visitors Wednesday through Sunday. Tag your nature-loving bff and make plans to check it out. Patch of Heaven Sanctuary is located at 21900 SW 157th Ave, Miami, FL 33170. For more information visit patchofheavensanctuary.org

Did you know there is a wildlife rescue center there also ? They rescue baby squirrels, possums and raccoons. I follow them on Instagram – MWRC – Melina’s Wildlife Rehabilitation Center.
